It is almost irrelevant because they also were **** and created **** all and a referee decision decided it
We're not 3 points clear though. We're 2 points clear now. We're one loss from dropping into the zone now if other results go against us. We had GD as somewhat of an extra point but that's now redundant as it stands. Today was a big bollock drop. Its not even the result. It's the entirely hopeless performances of the past 4 or 5 games in a row.
It's the sheer lack of urgency, send hughes forward and launch the ****ing ball, if its good enough for man utd last night then it's good enough for us. We were in desperate need of a goal but we did nothing. The line up on Monday needs changing yet again, kamara and alzate have to start and stick Joseph back out wide as well. It's really **** or bust in the next 2 games
Fair comments TC. I'm not yet in your camp, but after today and recent performances I am wondering. He HAS to get it right and get us firing in these next 2. I'm left with blind faith but no confidence that he will. Panda Coyle Jones Hughes Macca Alzate Puerta Kamara Gelhardt (10) Joseph (or Burstow) Pedro He has to get Kamara believing he's a world (or at least Championship) beater and to work his bollox off. Rather than someone who looks like he's lacking in confidence, caught in headlights, unsure, etc. Gelhardt central, roaming, causing a threat. Give Pedro some service from centre and from wide. Something Selle's has failed to deliver game after game after game. Wrong time unfortunately to bring Drameh and Jacob back in. Possibly same with Burstow, having basically demoralised them by shutting them out rather than blooding them in. That starting 11 is plenty good enough to give it a right good go v Preston and Derby. Whether they will or not, twt.
Alzate was clearly struggling with fitness today Crooks is like an amercian beer league player Slater was **** Puerta was even worse Not many choices
Doesn’t matter what team we play, it’s the boring style we’ve adopted for the last 2 years. There’s no confidence either which doesn’t help.
Pedro's drop in form has come at the absolute worst time, he's carried such a good threat this season but since his sending off has been well off it. Joseph and Burstow at 5m for the pair has to be up there with some of the worst business we've ever done, think I'd rather have Wilks and Magennis
We've got to be at the bottom of the $hithousery table. Need to get a Colin ****er in as a consultant in the dark hearts because we're way off the pace. Have been for as long as I can remember. Just to easy to bully and play against. Fecking amateurs.
I think I kind of understand what Selles is trying to do. 3 or 4 points is probably enough and our defence is good. Save for a couple of dodgy referee decisions today - we could be talking about another decent away performance with an unlikely victory a la Sheff Weds. We probably only need one of these next three games to go our way - maybe two if we need that extra point. Our attack is poor so try and grind out a result utilising our relatively decent defence and organisation. That could still yet work.
When we eventually sacked Wallyball Walter, we had, “technically”, the choice of 3 managers, 2 out of work, Robins, Lampard & Selles. Whether Robins or Lampard were even in Acun’s conversation is anyone’s guess. For me, the best choice was Robins, I didn’t want Lampard, too much drama attached to the big name & we become Frank Lampard’s Hull City & I knew **** all about Selles. Looking back now, Lampard might have been the best decision, I still think Robins would have done the job well & Selles is an improvement over Walter is all I can say. Sometimes we look brilliant, other times bloody hopeless! It just seems over the years, we’ve just been **** against **** sides, no matter who the manager has been!
I didn't expect them to win today. They have Oxford at home next btw. And Norwich, with nothing to play for, to end with. If we don't win, they'll overtake us. Btw, just to clarify, were you actually calling me a **** there?
