Swansea weren't great at all but we allowed them to settle and play around from the get go, our slightly improved play towards the end was as much about Swansea protecting their lead as it was any of our changes or subs.

For the first time this season I fear for us. I feel the team is fighting but we just can't assert ourselves in to a game at the moment and seem to want to keep things as cagey as possible for as long as possible and steal something and I'm not so sure that's the right approach now. It also seems to me that opposing managers have us well figured out.

Anything can happen though, 3 wins on the bounce anyone?

    We were ****.

Most of the time second to the ball and when we did get it we had them all over us and rarely our own players moving into space to receive an easy pass. Generally we just drifted away from the player with the ball.

Decision for the penalty was 100% wrong, but we were passively allowing them to attack without clearing it hence them having a good chance.

I still think we’ll stay up…but I’m certainly not confident.

Not really, derby would be in it. Which comes back to my point about keeping derby below us.

I am ok for a win, that should save us. No need to pray for a miracle.

Judging on what we've seen over the past few games, it'd take a freak for us to beat PNE, or anyone.

Will we attack them from the off, not giving them a chance to settle or be arsed, or ...

    Pandur - can't really judge
    Coyle - ****e as per
    Egan - hard done to
    Hughes - piss poor today
Macca - has money on us going down
    Slater - invisible yet again
    Puerta - marginally less invisible
Palmer - barely got him on the ball
Pedro - barely got him on the ball
Gelhardt - effort, but wrong decision after wrong decision again
Lincoln - overhit and underhit everything
    Kamara - poor decision making
Amrabat - added directness and at least seemed to put some fight in
Drameh - up and down but out of position
    Burstow - who?
Crooks - hasn't even got 20 minutes in the tank, the useless, lazy, freeloading ****

Selles - yet again had to mass substitute to correct the starting line up. Yet again we concede after the restart. Yet again we play like a bunch of strangers. Yet again we seem to only try to compete with a few minutes to go. ****ing shocking all around to be honest. Said after Monday night that results are papering over cracks, but if anything we've been going steadily backwards for a solid month now. We're actually looking worse by the game.

Yes, he played very well against Coventry, and didn't have a bad game today. To single him out in game where created City **** all in the first 70mins , and didn't give away any clear cut chances is bizarre

Nah it's ok. Bottom 3 playing each other is always good for us and what happens in a run of 3 games means nothing ...so season is effectively over now and we stay up to. Apparently.

Pedantry when I point out that selles has 5 more wins? Otherwise why bring up Walter's 3?

we need to keep Hughes and get rid of every other defender. Rebuild around him. We need to get rid of every attacker, non are good enough, don’t tell me Joseph, burstow, kamara are developing, they’re not. Midfield - I’ve no idea

Is that the Kamara with 7 goal contributions? Everyone keeps demanding overhauls then screeching about no cohesion.

We have players who didn't like TW because it was too hard for them. End of conversation.

Yes I should have added Derby - but what I meant by saying ‘could’ really.

If Derby had beaten Luton, should Cardiff also lose tonight - we’d be 5 points clear with 3 games left. I’d take that even if it meant we were 21st.

I haven't singled him out. I've made several posts about various things and he was just one of those things.

Blimey, did you ever see Gary Neville’s running style, didn’t do too badly despite it.
