It’s as bad as I’ve ever seen.

Spurs could easily finish 16th which hasn’t happened for a long time. Not even close to being acceptable.

The obvious point is Mason is likely to play a safety-first 4231, which could demonstrate how many of the issues are tactical and/or structural

Though playing 4231 with a likely pivot of Bergvall and Bentancur isn't going to be particularly "safety first"

Could even be 17th! Only 2 points separate us with Wolves and West Ham. What a time to be alive.

Thank **** the bottom three are genuinely dog **** and all practically down already, most relegation battles involve 5-6 teams. Scary really.

I think sensibility would go along way to improving what we’re seeing to be honest. Porro overlapping, Bentancur as an 8, Maddison a 10, Son cutting in and not hugging the line and Vicario told to not try and play like Ederson… just those relatively basic things alone would make up about 10 points in my opinion.

Porro underlapping isn't an issue per se as that's his game, but it does lead him and Johnson tripping over each other in the same space - but Udogie clearly needs to be on the overlap

The issue is we seem to be set up so the left flank is our designated flank for creativity, which makes us far too easy to set up against as the right flank is reliant on either Porro or whoever is playing RW creating something on their own rather than as part of some tactical plan

That being said, a pivot of Gray partnered with either Bergvall or Bentancur is workable as that does let us use a box midfield (which is this season's trendy meta) as Mickey Van pushes up into the pivot while Bergvall/Lolo push up to be a second No10 - though the obvious issue there is we would still be keeping Sonny & Johnson out wide instead of letting them cut in as a box midfield basically has us playing 3241 when in possession

So that we have a poll where we can see whether Spurs supporters want Ange out now

One no vote to be removed, belongs to @Big Ern

The obvious thing to say about Ange is that, ten years ago, he could have made a dent in the Premier League managing somebody like Fulham or Palace

...that being said, at some point in time somebody further up the food chain would have come calling and shone a light on whether he did a good job as he was a good manager like Poch at Southampton, or if he was somebody taking all the credit for the structure which was in place before and after him like Rodgers at Swansea - and we can all guess which one he likely would have been within 3-4 months of his new job

Meaningful discussion should still sit with RCLs thread, this is just for the poll.

It’s still not visible (unless it becomes visible on closing date?).

Also can you or any other mod delete the poll in the Postecoglou/ Lange thread. I won’t create a new one until he’s gone but that could be as early as Friday morning…

You on laptop/ PC or mobile?

I’m on iPhone, can’t see any view option.

Unless I’m being blind… which is entirely possible.

I want Ange gone but not until Spurs are out of Europe. Might as well let him complete that.

It's a shambles, why are we waiting until we are inevitably knocked out of all the Cups before we sack him?

Oh yes, money talks given the speculations over his break clause!
