Oh, I've had no doubts about us winning the title for a long time now... I still think we're not anywhere near our best at the moment and we're going to lose games in the tail end... but I've no doubt in my head now that we've done enough to beat Arsenal's point tally.

It's been wrapped up for a few weeks now

When is the parade? I need to book a hotel

Bank Holiday Monday. Going to be ****ing mental. I'm going to stay at one of my sisters on the Friday night and stay until Tuesday, No chance of a ticket, but I may go to the ground anyway to welcome the bus (if they're still doing that) then watch the game in the Arkles or The Supporter's Club, then go from my other sister's in Old swan to watch the parade there, or at The Jolly Miller down the road. Might get a lift down to the Pier Head

There was 700k in 2019. Some are already saying 1m this time, I still think they should have 2 buses and as many of the 2020 squad as possible, including Jurgen.

Obviously happy to just get these points on the board now, but ****ing hell! Just completely outplayed for 40 minutes at home to West Ham there, it’s not good enough

Can't use the excuse of being 'tired' either now, just playing every Sunday. Get this wrapped up before May, as there are some dicey fixtures then and we can't rely on this first XI to be up for them. We throttled W Ham for half an hour today, then we just seemed petrified of them. Gray and Szobbo are running on empty, and Macca is being overused. The back four - whoever they are - appear shambolic, and the attack is leaden.

Still, it'll all be forgotten come that parade. Then see if we can retail it next season.

I am struggling a bit to understand why we are making such hard work of this. We have been poor against very mediocre opposition for quite a while, Southampton, West Ham; terrible in the Carabou cup final but we scrape home like today.
We are playing once a week now, no distractions and still we cannot get back to the performance of pre-Christmas. The defence seems to have lost all confidence and shape. But it looks like we will win the Premier League and all will be forgiven

I actually think we play better when we play twice a week

I actually think we play better when we play twice a week
I think that is an actual thing for most teams
Have said it before
Winning is a habit
All pros say it - that when you are winning you just want the next game
Only ever fans that talk about fatigue - which is strange cause when I play I can’t wait
Weird but true - I think when it’s starts touching on nearly 3 games per week - when they are done there is a coming down period
Navigating that is crucial to teams who don’t have massive squads is crucial

If you look at what was going on

Back line too deep. (Thets just lack of will and nerves)

Midfield neither here nor there. Miles of space for their key man to get it in. Macallister can't run after 50mins. Gravenberch looks clunky.

Jones either held it too long or was only interested in running into their box for a goal and never chased back. Nobody got near their main man and just made sure thst was shut down

Forwards simply not pressing or being too narrow and not active. Just went to sleep and Jota was off then diaz moved central and never bothered his arse and then ended on the right.

Who's jaded? They all suddenly started running for the last few mixture when thry conceded.

I can only conclude that this is a mix of nerves and thinking they have it won.

Van dijk jumped across Robertson and nearly raked his jugular open. Never looked like a bead of sweat on him but won't drive the line up. Why?

There were miles of space for west ham to play in but zero quality in their play really. If they were braver and took a cb off and stuff they could have really gone at us. Especially bowen v robertson

The positives are alisson and bradley.

Salah was better for 35mins. Better touch but faded badly

Diaz was alright for 35mins and frankly he had more to give but running through a wall for the team doesn't seem to be a thing now.

We had them pinned in with their 532 formation and were in control.

But then it went to ****.

One made break where we win it normally enough then just let the ball just drop and nobody goes for it so they can play over vvd and then it's mad panic and falling back. Second half is just a total **** show.

Gakpo did nothing coming on. 30mins to win the shirt there and he really did **** all but cut in and hit a couple of **** efforts.

Jones really just did jones things. Too many touches at times, stopping up and slowing things at times. Seemed to get a hard on for running into the box then not tracking back, rightly subbed.

Szoboszlai was shocking. Came on and should have been running about madly to make sure of his shirt. But ****ing hell at least close the gaps.

Sometimes have to give opposition credit. West Ham up top have dangerous players but they had paqueta and kudos playing in 10s with Bowen floating around.

Meant they were able to drop off the cbs but behind the cm’s.

6pts to win the league

I’m trying to see what dicey fixtures we have left?

Chelsea only managed draw at home to Ipswich

Brighton only managed a 2-2 draw with Leicester

Crystal Palace lost 5-2 at City after being 2-0 up

Leicester we should beat

Tottenham we should beat

Arsenal I’m not worried about after watching their draw with Brentford

sorry, but we shouldn’t be scared about playing any of these teams.
