    The moral of the story: Don't loan out players we're trying to get rid of to clubs in claret and blue, they'll only break them. So I guess we can rule out Burnley borrowing Gomes...

    He was on loan for the season Notso, so we wouldn't have been selling him, anyway.
    Thought that he might push his value up a bit with some decent performances there, though.
