Weren't both Spurs and Liverpool involved in the over-turning of 4-0 deficits?....just seem to rememeber something happened, think it was CL
3-0 down to Barca in the first leg then won 4-0 at Anfield. Spurs had a crazy scoreline against Ajax and won then lost in the final to us.

Arsenal have been awful this season with their moaning and silly petulance last night showed what can happen if you concentrate and play football. I don't see RM coming back from that but it's not impossible.

I wouldn't say he's got a temper, but he's defo got some ****housery about him.

I thought Belligham dragged him to the ground, but yeah, LS left his studs on his shin, which you can't really do.

Loved the way though, when one of the Real players tried to give him the ball after it had gone for a throw, he ignored it and walked to another one to pick that up

It's that kind of stuff that shows he's got the finer subtleties of the game wired.

Massive confidence for an 18 year old, and he's got the skill to match it.

Not sure getting red carded and being unable to play in the second leg as a result is what I'd call a 'finer subtlety' ... more brain fart ...

Villa got a huge task on today ... PSG are a cracking side ...
in Europe this season they have been pretty "meh".
They barely qualified from the group stage.
Same with Real Madrid really, they were pretty pants in the group stage.

Losing to Emery in the semis would be better.
That would be tragic!! And hilarious!
Am kinda rooting for both the English teams in the CL now tbh.
Shame they have to play each other in the semi (If they go through obviously), would have been great to get another all English final.

I'm not talking about when you won a trophy, I'm chatting about the decline of Leicester since your owner died. It's clear they are no longer interested in what was no more than a childs toy. Your past owner will be spinning in his grave at what has happened, and watching you against the Toon, highlighted how low the mighty have fallen. Relying on parachute payments to keep you a float. A manager that don't care, players that don't care and owners who are probably ready to get rid, but will continue to mug off the Prem and EFL for whatever finances are left to suck out of them. You should have gone bankrupt instead of selling shares, it would have been less painful to watch.
And those clapper things they give to the crowd to make noise...they deserve relegation for those alone

They do what they need to ... and they made Liverpool look like a Championship side in that first leg ... no real comparison to Real Madrid (who reminded me of a PSG of old - more a collection of individuals than a team)...

PSG have two of the best full-backs in the CL ... Madrid two of the worst ... and whilst Villa have some good players they will also need a lot of luck...

Do you watch a lot PSG and Real Madrid?

... both ...

The LS one was a bit of something and nothing, he left his boot in there, but it wasn't a stamp, a lunge or running his studs down his shin. That said, with our luck with VAR it could have ended in trouble.

What I meant by the 'finer subtlety' was LS ignoring the Real player trying to give him the ball and walking to the spare ball to pick that up, in order to slow the game down. Just little things like that, which you don't coach, but a player has either got or he hasn't
