A bit of fun and possibly a thread that guys won't want to be involved in - but it crossed my mind in replying in another thread that if "posessing an offensive" face was enshrined in the rules of the game and offenders were prevented from playing....which participants of the noble game would never again cross the white line onto the field of play?

Ladies (and gentlemen) of the jury, I offer the name of Wayne Rooney - a man so ugly that even hair transplants run for cover to get away from his face.

Who else?

When Keegan took over at Newcastle he told the players that he was going to get some new faces in. Peter Beardsley then asked for one......

lol - briliiant!!

Peter Beardsley, the only man who was more ugly when he put his teeth IN. ...he could play a bit though couldn't he?

Luke Chadwick. It was a cruel twist of fate that he emerged (possibly from a cocoon) during the spice boy bollocks era of football with the likes of Beckham, gigs etc.

The sainted Bobby Stokes wasn't much to write home about in the facial department as I remember.

I am beginning to think a team of uglies would be quite a team.

....but then I remembered it's already been done and it's called Man Utd ;)
