I think City are starting to improve...the hyperbole around any slight drop in results leads people thinking they can't win vs bottom half clubs. They're still doing as well as Newcastle, but we'll have people saying Man United will be an easy game for us. Essentially that's how it goes.. If people want a result to happen they'll find reasons to say that result will happen and vice versa. So Man City are not very good and Man United will get something and Man United are crap and Newcastle should win.
I really don't care now. We won the cup. We had the best weekend ever. Any improvement in our league position is just a bonus now. And if we we don't improve on it, oh well! Still the most successful season in my lifetime. Obviously would love us to compete for CL places and longer term for PL champions. But right now, I'm in a happy place.
Super hero movies are for millennials and fully grown men that still buy plastic light sabres. I'll come though and I'm wanting two drinks from the stranger that wasn't actually Obi.
Can't remember the exact wording but Judge Smails says something like " the Cinderella story, dancing with her ugly sisters" is that the right character?
This happens when teams lose against the mighty mags at Wembley. It’s like the equilibrium is disturbed.
Lol yes, that was what I meant, 3rd goal just gone in before I made that post. 2-1 is unexpected, but 3-1 at HT is what the feck
