Out of the 90 min of absolutely miserable and frankly pathetic display from City, Charlie Hughes rose up like the Colussus of Rhodes to score with a header that had all the power of a Jupiter rocket lifting off from Cape Canverial on its way to the moon and all the precision of Neil Armstrong sticking the landing of the Lunar Module. What a goal without which we would be staring into the abyss.
