Truss found out what happens when you try and take on the markets and we are still paying for it now. And what Truss did was minuscule in financial damage to what Trump is doing.
I've no idea how this will play out, because I've got no historic memory of anything like this. Yes we had the financial crash where the banks had to be bailed out and covid, but what Trump is doing is deliberate sabotage in the way we trade.
If this makes people as desperate as the financial crash did, then Trump better be upping his bodyguards, although don't be surprised if one of his own security personnel take him out.
Next week is going to be interesting for sure, will Trump back off or go head first into this...start getting the bog roll in people...

I looked up Walmart shares today as an indicator of things, and while doing so came across an article that said they had weathered the storm well on day one (Thursday), due to their size and another company whose name I've forgotten, they both came through it ok. However, I thought I'd like to see that same story after yesterdays trading, and Walmart shares had dropped again.
America don't bother me too much, **** them, us and the rest of the world can trade amicably with each other and leave the states the outlier. Sorry Mr President but Land Rover and Jaguar don't want to export to you anymore, so get on with it bro, let us know how it goes.
