Average age of your team was 26.8 years in 2020. Mourinho won it with Chelsea in 2005 with an average age of 25.9 and Man Utd have won it 4-5 times under Ferguson with a younger team than your one which won the league.
Just saying.
Edit: It was pre-Guardiola but also worth noting
- The 2011/12 Manchester City team had an average age of 25.4 years.
As did Chelsea in 2005 and Man Utd in 1996 - beating Liverpool in the final if i recall correctly.
Anyway it's all much of a muchness, Klopp did an excellent job at Liverpool overall and I've got no qualms with saying that. Credit where it's due and all that.
Edit: Oh I just realised what you meant. So my comments above are referring to the League Cup and League for Chelsea in 2005 and FA Cup and League for Man Utd in 1996. I think that's more impressive than winnign both the cups but hadn't realised that wasn't what you meant.
In the battle of semantics he's right though, as you said "league and FA Cup", you would have had to say "league cup and FA cup" or "league and FA cups" to be referring to the league cup.
This was the interview when he said and I quote
"I have no idea how to fix things"
That's good then, he's made the semi final of the FA Cup, not bad for someone that can't fix things. I'm sure he's really distraught at knowing he's upset you though, haven't you got any brown people you should be crying about today, how many boats have landed this year bruv, thousands, absolute thousands, hopefully all become City supporters to wind you up even more.

Salford, Orient, Plymouth, Bornmuff and Forest would be better than just losing to Plymouth IMO.

It's a fair point but you can only beat who you play. On paper we had a horrible run to the League Cup final but realistically Forest and Chelsea (and ourselves) didn't put out full strength teams in the early round. I think away to Bournemouth in a cup game where they're up for it is about as tough as it gets at the moment and Forest aren't going to be a push over.
Point being city always get favorable draws in cups and have done since daddy sheik took over
