Thought their defence were to strong for all our forwards today. Every cross which went into the box they won. Some of our build up play was decent but nothing in the final third. I can’t remember either keeper having to make a save until theirs in injury time, their goal was calamity. Terrible result which as dragged us right back into it when the chance to pull away goes again. Still 3/4 wins probably needed from the last 7.

Wasn’t just there defence, there whole team was too strong for us and we were bullied out of it. Team of big strong lads and it showed.

he was absolutely shocking today
completely out of his depth on todays game, very odd signing potentially here

It was a gamble and we were desperate, unfortunately it looks like a bad deal.

It’s probably a bit harsh on the lad, we needed a lot from him and he’s not experienced at this level.

We really played into Luton’s hands today.

Time and time again we drifted a cross in and never looked like scoring from it. Our best chances came from playing neat balls through the middle - so we took off much of our midfield and tried to continue winning headers in the box.

I praised Selles for his subs in the last home game - but he mucked up this one. We vacated the midfield completely for the last 10 minutes and paid the price. We barely got going. Puerta should have stayed on, or as much as he’s been disappointing this season - Slater should have been on instead of Crooks

Im not sure he’s the answer but I fail to see how Lincoln and Amrabat got on instead of Burstow. He must be fuming.

First half was alright, second half we looked very nervy and devoid of any ideas whatsoever. The sooner Pedro is back in the team the better

We were always going to drop some points to teams around us. As long as they respond against Wednesday we’ll continue to be okay.

Well in a season of very poor home form I think that just about takes the biscuit. Substandard performances from front to back. Ridiculously slow build up and half hearted finishing. I think Puerta was ok and Palmer showed some good touches. Big improvement needed and it'll be good to see Pedro back next week.

Palmer was one of the worst players on the pitch, which took some doing.

We really are the gift that keeps on giving. Utterly ****e performance at home once again against one of the worst in the division. Sick of it.

One man has to take responsibility for it
The man that sacked McCann & replaced him with Shota
The man that sacked Rosenior & replaced him with Tim Walter
The man that appointed Selles
The man that should have waited & appointed a proven manager that had a promotion from the Championship to the PL on his CV
Over 3 years down the line ,5 managers & countless players & City could well be playing Div1 football next season
Poor,really poor!!

With Stoke and Cardiff winning. If it stays as it is, if Derby beat Preston by 3, we will be in the relegation zone come next weekend.

Derby have won three on the bounce and could make it four. We cannot win games back-to-back. We have no momentum.

We’ve been beaten by Stoke, Cardiff and now Luton. If we cannot beat the relegation rivals, we could definitely go down.

Needless to say next weekend is MASSIVE. The problem is of course, there is likely no other club (Blades excepted) that MASSIVE would like to beat more than us. Today was down to the manager for me. Palmer has been a creator when we needed one. When we need one we had no one.

and Stop this long throw bollocks. Our 'big lads' have is it one goal between them all season in 'set piece' situations.

I agree with this, although given our position, I think Selles was a good appointment and he’s doing his best with a limited squad. All the other decisions have been bonkers though.

Luton were probably the worst passing team we’ve seen this season, and they didn’t really press us .
We had no forwards
Jones passing is absolutely atrocious he gave the ball to them so many times
We played too slowly and so many chances to shoot and we didn’t !We have too many slow players , Crookes , Joseph’s no faster , Alzate , Jones , Macca etc and whilst they all can play there is no dynamism like you get from Puerta and Gelhardt .
we cannot muscle teams ,
Lastly Coyle had an excellent game but why is he not bending the refs ear , the ref gave them a lot and didn’t book anyone did he?

:emoticon-0120-doh:Wow that was dreadful and I include Luton in that too!

I always thought a winger tried to beat his man and/or put a cross in. Not sure why Ruben had ours just recycling possession backwards.

Just far too slow and ponderous. Centre backs waiting for movement in front of them which never came. Always playing the safety first pass sideways or backwards which killed any momentum.

I don’t think Joseph should be anywhere near the team just now. Offering less and less by the game - Pedro was a huge miss today.

Our slow and ponderous didn’t work all game so for the last 10 we should have just put it in dangerous areas and fought for second balls.

We never looked like scoring today and neither did Luton. Unfortunately we put on a comedy gold defensive moment
No point wingers putting ball in the box if there's no one there
