He just looks devoid of confidence. A few times 1 on 1 with the defender, he should relish the chance to take him on, to make something happen. Contrast with old man Amrabat - at least he tries things, takes his man on, has some urgency, etc.
But at the end of the day, we are just ****e as an attacking side full stop, and that's from our defenders to midfielders to attackers.

I thought he was the only one who looked up for it, but only in moments. The rest were still on break.

Didn't agree with him going it was clearly bonkers but Selles can take us forward. Selles has the same issue with our home form. Maybe they need to get a witch doctor or Stuart Elliot in to lift whatever is cursing us at home. The lack of form after breaks needs addressing too, though I think missing Pedro was a huge factor today .

We've really missed Oscar today, we had the bulk of the ball and did ****-all with it - beaten by a comedy OG and Luton forwards who couldn't hit the proverbial 'cows arse'. Today we've been out-muscled and out-savvied (is that a word?), I'd love a goal to go in off the back of Joseph's head, or his knee, he looks petrified in front of goal.

I still believe we have enough to stay up!

Well there can’t have been many games like that then or they wouldn’t have got close to that many.

I can think of loads, come on! Our home form and inability to win games like that at home were exactly why we didn't make the play offs.

:emoticon-0120-doh:Wow that was dreadful and I include Luton in that too!

I always thought a winger tried to beat his man and/or put a cross in. Not sure why Ruben had ours just recycling possession backwards.

Just far too slow and ponderous. Centre backs waiting for movement in front of them which never came. Always playing the safety first pass sideways or backwards which killed any momentum.

I don’t think Joseph should be anywhere near the team just now. Offering less and less by the game - Pedro was a huge miss today.

Our slow and ponderous didn’t work all game so for the last 10 we should have just put it in dangerous areas and fought for second balls.

We never looked like scoring today and neither did Luton. Unfortunately we put on a comedy gold defensive moment

Joseph is a league one player. He needs 15 touchrs before he thinks about scoring. Full stop

Outrageous performance that today from City. No belief and no idea against a side who offered little more yet beat us with so f’kin easily . Cannot get my head round why we slowly died a death the longer the game went on and capitulated the way we did at a time when your supposedly playing for survival and the shirt.

Huge kick up the arse needed…hopefully today we got it.

Then you must be able to point to all the times we hammered teams 5-0, otherwise that goal tally doesn’t add up. We didn’t make the play-offs because there were 6 better teams than us that season.

Normally after a loss like that the match day thread is busy, today it’s pretty quiet, seems like folk are beyond caring now and just want the season to end whatever the final result will be.

We really are the gift that keeps on giving. Utterly ****e performance at home once again against one of the worst in the division. Sick of it.

I want him to do well but I’m struggling to see what Joseph’s strengths are. Not particularly quick, not particularly mobile, not blessed with technical ability, struggled with the physicality of their centre-halves and couldn’t hold the ball up and doesn’t seem to have a striker’s instincts in the box. He doesn’t excel in anything a striker should do. Estupiñán wasn’t quick, mobile, technical and his hold-up play wasn’t great either but he at least had a striker’s instincts to get into the right positions at the right time and finish chances. Really struggle to see what Joseph offers.
