We know it's a team game and about the management of it, but if there's going to be one player in the City squad who's going to make the difference over these last 8 games and ensure we stay in the Championship, who do you think that'll be?

Probably most would suggest Salech up top given the impact he's made so far, but I'm going for Turnbull. We've been operating all season without an effective No.10 - Ramsey sicknote, Colwill spluttering, Roberstson lost, Robinson inneffective and Willock circular motions finally dissappearing up his own arshole. The only other untried one there would be Mannsverk but he's better off as a No. 8 just in front of Chambers.

A fit Turnbull back up to speed could be the answer. He only came on for 20 minutes against Blackburn and he looked up for it to me. Let's give him a go.

Anyway - latest Championship relegation odds.......

Snow Queens to escape relegation?

A win on Saturday is a priority. Wendies bringing over 3,000 fans apparently.

City should be doing a kids for free promotion, adult with a child £10, or less even. Never mind the money.

Get some home support in ffs.

Looks like "international hangover " on here - roll on Saturday. <ok>

Yep back to having a moan about the obscene amounts of money spent on standing still or going backwards. And I'm not just talking about us.
Or about the money out benevolent owner keeps putting in.
Or how much money players get paid to be injured.
Or how contracts are renewed to make sure we can make money when we sell players if relegated.
Just realised that I mentioned money quite a lot. I could do the same about loyalty I suppose.
Never mind, the rich clubs will do well and half a dozen "clubs" will continue to bounce between the prem and the championship.
Still, it's all there is.

Agree clingo, unfortunately it can be pretty desperate on times at CCFC but it's what this forum is about - international breaks are just that.

And what a lovely forum it is.

I have to say I am worried about our continuing Championship status especially with Derby suddenly showing a bit of form and no sign of a points deduction for any of the clubs around us <laugh>.

In all seriousness though, I am concerned that Riza continues to try and fix what's not broken, while not dealing with things that need mending.

Looks like our opponents on Saturday could have a big say in who's finishes on the trap door.

As well as us, the Wendies have still to play Hull, Oxford, Stoke and Portsmouth - all big games so we really need to win ours against them.

Yes indeed and at the moment they still have a chance if finishing in the top six. Hopefully that will still be the case after we've beaten them on the weekend. Don't want them losing interest with them having to play so many of our rivals.

Absolutely.

Ugbo must start for them!!! But would probably score his only league goal for them this season. <doh>

Wendies fan chant - If Ugbo scores we're on the pitch!!!

That would be very disappointing if he left S he’s clearly a very promising young Welsh player
