I’ve heard his name mentioned a lot before when talking about centres but I feel like O line is a position you really only know about your own team, unless you watch loads of games of every team rather than just highlights. Bradbury has been **** since his rookie year so moving on from him is a nice surprise. With the amount of holes on this team I didn’t think they would prioritise that at all. Maybe they are finally learning that the trenches are how you build a team that can win it all. Very rare you see a team with bad O Line and/or D Line play win a Super Bowl. The Vikings have been bad at both for a long time. Be nice if they got two other IOL as well (Fries and Jenkins out of who is left) and Allen as a DT then draft another DT. Secondary will be bad on paper but they’ve already missed out on all the top tier FAs there anyway.
Colts and Vikings doing a little swap! I liked Kelly a lot, especially so after the way he came back in at Indianapolis and handled himself after him and his wife lost their newborn daughter. He always seemed a great guy even before that anyway, and by all accounts he is
That should put them out of the race for Fries as well as they can’t afford him now (turns out the Seahawks thing was a rumour)
Yep your team going for this season, that’s big money for a guard, but you are in a tough division and it’s the pressure to keep up with the lions and packers with Chicago spending some money as well.
The benefit of having a QB on a rookie deal Makes the draft more of a question if they sign two DTs, gives them some room for manoeuvre if the board lines up as being predicted. Still no idea what their secondary is going to look like, and obviously nobody knows how McCarthy is going to do in the NFL so still hard to predict how the season will go
Fine with that from a comp pick point of view. Interesting who they go for as backup. Minshew would be my guess
That is impressive. Also makes you wonder what other moves KAM has got up his sleeve. Obviously the Fries and Hargrave deals need to be added to that number but clearly there's room for more moves.
