Well I think anyone thinking unbiasedly knows it's likely we'll lose. And if we do it ain't the end, and we can have a good attempt at getting CL after.

The main positive I have, is that despite the Gordon suspension, it hasn't ****ed things up as much as the Pope suspension did 2 years ago, the whole team was destabilised and we were never going to win.

Like I say I hope, but I don't think Newcastle can beat this Liverpool side without Gordon Botman and Hall.

Very good night for us in the end. Got the win without exerting ourselves too much. Bit of a training match really. No new personnel problems for the weekend. Just got to turn up and give it our best now. I'd be tempted to bring Targett in on the left though. I just think he'll give them more to think about going the other way. Then maybe bring Tino on for his energy in one on one situations. I thought the two right footers looked like a problem for us.

Agree but I think vs Salah we need the pace Tino affords us, was very apparent last night he isn't massively comfortable on that left hand side but he's doing a decent job out there atm.
