If it wasn't for the Arab billions at ManArab Bity, Spurs would be second in the premiership, 2 points behind Man USA with a game in hand. Now theres a thought.
 
Haha. If we finish 2nd we can call it a moral victory as City are playing a totally different game.
 
I couldn't have been any further away just outside Bridgetown! Bar one day, the Hotel owner took us to his beach house on the NE of the island. never experienced such strong sea in my life. He said it changes every day where you can swim calling these small bits of the sea, pools. We walked out into a rough bit, after 2 waves the sand was over my ankles! <yikes> when the sea went back out it made you bend at the knee. Thought bollox to that and went back on the rum punch! :D
 
If it wasn't for the Arab billions at ManArab Bity we wouldn't have Adebayor, so we'd probably be about 6th, judging by previous seasons without a top striker!
 
Nah. Without £ity there'd be no skewing of the transfer market, so we'd be able to afford the likes of Adebayor, anyway. £ity's billions have pandered to the greed inside every footballer, and ramped up expectations way beyond what should be considered reasonable. Without £ity's billions, 'Pool would not have paid £35 million for donkey Carroll.

Wonder how the Sheike(sic) is going to react to going out of the CL sack the whole 1st team and buy another one? Probably, because he can.
Will the ManUSA board sack bacon face for failing- again to win the CL trophy? Probably not, because the don't have the b___s to do it.

Remember before the beginning of last year when we were told by all that we would embarrass england by failing in the champions league? Funny, that we beat the current champs, then put out the multiple winners and now both manchester clubs have gone out at the first hurdle.
 
that's another thing,did you hear lawro defending £ity on 5 live,he said it was hard for them,because it was their 1st time in the Cl,and they had a hard group,1st time,hard group,same as us last year,but we have European pedegree
 
Heard that Roy Keane was asked about Utd's failure, he said "they got what they deserved".
The response from bacon face - "what does he know he's a failed manger".
Such dignity eh?<doh>
 
City's group was hard, to be fair.
Our was probably harder than theirs, though.

Utd have no such excuse.
An embarrassingly easy group that they should have strolled through as winners.
 
I never thought I would want to finish above any team in the EPL more than Arsenal, but this new arrogance of SAF and Evra has changed all of that. I hope we **** on the bastards!*

By the way, I now have a certain degree of respect for Roy Keane that I never used to have, following his critical but fair assessment of United after last night's debacle.
