If one team is allowed a concussion substitute, the opponent is permitted an additional normal substitute tooAnyone see any incidents for tsimikas, Jones or Szoboszlai that would suggest a head injury?

Bednarek went off with a head injury, meaning both teams can make an extra substitution.Anyone see any incidents for tsimikas, Jones or Szoboszlai that would suggest a head injury?

Well, just reading the Premier League rules it’s the team that has to substitute a player for concussion that can have a total of 6 or 7 substitutions as you are allowed 2 concussion substitutes per team. Southampton having a concussion substitute today doesn’t mean we are allowed to have 6 instead of the normal 5, unless we make a concussion substitute as well.Bednarek went off with a head injury, meaning both teams can make an extra substitution.

Won’t the team using APCSs and also three normal substitutions have a possible advantage by having more fresh players on the field than their opponents?
No, because once an APCS takes place, the opposing team are given the right to make an additional “normal” substitution at a time of their choosing.

It changed on 1 July 2024.Ok,
Must have been updated from the Pemier league page I was looking on, but just checked the date and it was from 2021….
it's a stat based on data which means for it to be xg of 1 would mean pens are never missed . honestly not sure why you can't grasp thisI've not seen 24% of penalties missed.
The stat is not goals scored. It's expected goals scored.
If you don't expect a goal to be scored from a pen when would you?

His yellow card tackle was a bit stupid, tbh - but he redeemed himself with a nicely taken goal and in winning the pen.
Still, I was glad he was taken off because he was still putting himself about and I was worried about a second yellow.
What.
Hang on.
