Got too complacent and tried the fancy football too much .
There was nothing fancy about any of that - it was more like a complete change of tactics. First half we took the game to them, forced the pace, attacked and forced them into errors. Second half we sat back, let them have the ball and do all the attacking & pressure us into mistakes. Mystifying really.:(

Yes that is true .

Basically put us under pressure and we weren’t comfortable at all on the ball at the back .

Tom seems to making excuses about tiredness .

Should we not be prepared for that more ?

That was a game we threw away by pissing about at the back, both their goals cold have been avoided by a pass forward or at least some controlled possession instead of suicide passes in our 18 yd area

Millwall made a simple tactical change half time, long ball and high press and we just played multiple short passes in our third of the field

Tom could be in danger now, I point from two games we could've won

Ramadan, it seems over half our team are fasting and we did run out of steam

Bloody religion...<grr>
Particularly if it is going to impact future games too.

Woeful defensive play by Ngakia allowing his man to run past and play the ball onto the on rushing midfielder.

Too easy for Millwall with the winner as well .

Free cross in and a good but free header which Selvik obviously felt he had no chance with?

Just thinking of the reaction had that been Bachmann just standing there .

Tom must understand that and make changes the team needs, I am not sure he fully understands that, he is still unexperienced

Decent header. No blaming Selvik on that one.
Shocking second half display, absolute disgrace.

Well he talks about a lack of depth but then says he was happy about the transfer window .

Tom seemed to know there would be a problem but did little about it.

I'm not too sure that lack of depth has much to do with it. From virtually the minute the second half kicked off, it was obvious that we had set our stall out differently. The same players who had dominated the first half handed the initiative to Millwall and made no noticeable attempt to take it back.
Much as I hate to say it, for me the finger of blame for that points directly at the head coach.

And the players for not taking the initiative. Agreed the tactics were wrong but at no point did the players help themselves.
