You having a laugh if you think that's believable, of course I'm right. You don't really think a group of scientists and engineers would put air traffic and people on the ground at risk. Debris bringing down an aircraft due to a deliberately engineered failure or damaging people or property on the ground? Have you any idea how ****ing stupid that sounds? You crack on I've proved my point.

I just read SpaceX’s X posts and of course there is nothing there about expecting it to blow up. It is a test. Of course there are risks, but no suggestion they were expecting failure. They talk about how the ship will be caught on its return and about the sonic boom it will make on arrival.

This the mission scope I posted earlier "Starship was aiming to make nearly a full orbit around Earth and re-enter over the Indian Ocean for a splashdown, simulating a landing sequence that SpaceX wants to soon carry out on land as a key next phase of the rocket's development."

Yeah, it is a failed mission. I don’t see what Os’s point is here. Failure is normal with tests, but what Os is saying makes it sound like criminal negligence. It blew up very close to a commercial airliner… and if it was deliberately constructed with that risk that is not a good look for SpaceX.

I watched the live stream and word for word the engineer said “we expect technical problems due to the removal of heat shielding from the craft”

watch the video if it’s still up

You do know the heat shield is used on re-entry and it was the upper stage after lift off that blew don't you? Probably not you don't seem to know very much about anything.

I think we should all just reply with a copy and paste of this until he admits he is wrong.

Scene: Will McKenzie, Simon, Jay, and Neil are driving in Will's beat-up car, a "lump of yellow ****" (as Jay calls it), late at night. They pass a bus stop where JD Vance, the U.S. Vice President-elect (as of January 2025), is standing, looking frustrated, waiting for a ride. Instead of a bus, there's a mention of a luxurious, over-the-top couch delivery service that’s running late.
Will (driving, nervously): "Come on, guys, let’s just get home. I don’t want any trouble."
Jay (leaning out the window, spotting JD Vance at the couch stop): "Oi, couch ****ers!"
(JD Vance, dressed in a sharp suit but visibly annoyed, looks up, confused but unimpressed. He’s holding a copy of Hillbilly Elegy and checking his phone for the couch delivery status.)
JD Vance (shouting back, sarcastic): "What’d you say, kid? I’d rather be a couch ****er than drive that lump of yellow ****!"
(Will, panicking, tries to roll up the window as JD Vance steps closer, still throttling the air in mock frustration. Simon and Neil laugh nervously in the back seat.)
Simon (whispering to Will): "Oh God, that’s JD Vance! He’s going to be VP of the U.S. in a few months!"
Jay (grinning, egging it on): "Yeah, but he’s still waiting for his fancy sectional sofa like a loser! Couch ****er!"
(JD Vance, now fully committed, tosses his book aside and mock-throttles the air toward the car, yelling:)
JD Vance: "You think I’m out here for fun? This couch delivery’s late because I’m trying to furnish my VP office in D.C. with some Appalachian charm—better than your clapped-out car, you couchless peasants!"
(Will floors the accelerator, and the car sputters away as Neil falls off the seat laughing, Jay shouts “Couch ****ers!” one last time, and Simon hides his face in embarrassment. JD Vance shakes his head, picks up his book, and mutters about “damn British kids” as he waits for his couch.)

Trump has tweeted that if Russia doesn’t stop bombing Ukraine he will start imposing sanctions. I am very glad he has finally decided to make his first statement against Russia since his election. I hope he follows this up!

Why would I engage with you when you still haven’t responded to the clear evidence that Musk lies?

    Os

So what is your answer to these issues where white people are prejudiced against. You don't appear to have a solution.

So you feel that there is a job Elon Musk could do in uk ? Do you think Nigel Farage could solve these issues if elected. Even Rupert Lowe has no conceded that he has no faith in Farago.

I feel that the seems are starting to come apart with popularism. Interesting listen to the American economist on Radio 4 who suggested that the uncertainty with Trump’s tarrifs and the whole Trumponomics is causing problems in the market that will cause a recession.

I agree that Right Wing economic ideas may work yet the current crop of politicians are largely incompetent in comparison with the Iikes of Reagan. I so not see Farage as the answer as he is too much of a cartoon character who most people ridicule.

Spacex’s entire philosophy is to test things in the real world, see what breaks. Analyse the data and then go again.

There are a lot of things in rocketry that simply can’t be simulated (yet).

You liberals seem to try and use each test flight as a flop, to beat Elon musk with. But each flight is actually a huge incremental step forward in their journey to Mars.

It wasn’t just the heat shield, there were other profound changes to the starship on this iteration. They do it every time. They remove things, change materials etc.

I didn’t expect you to be so pathetically anal about this, so I accept that maybe it wasn’t the heat shield that caused this explosion.

They will release the data soon about what actually caused it and then the next version of the ship will be an improvement.

Regardless, the overall point I was making is correct. Each starship that blows up is NOT an embarrassing failure.

And you can’t be an engineer, I think you’re lying because otherwise all of this would be obvious.

Can you please tell us whether you have left school ? Not sure I you are male /female/other or what job you are hoping to get when you no longer need adult supervision.
