Never a good idea to go overboard on abuse to a player..he'll probably score. Probably exagerated what he said anyway. Likewise I hope it's us singing 'Championship, you're having a laugh' and not them, so that should be held back until we are 5.0 up
I remember one 2 - 0 where Prutton scored within 3 minutes of the start then Crouch scored on bout 25 minutes.I also remember one where Beattie dinked it over the keeper for the 1st and then Pahars crossing in and it got deflected off Risse for an own goal to make it 2 - 0.Also remember Heskey scoring for Liverpool live on sky for a 1-0 win for them.I can't for the life of me remember the game where Phillips scored against them! losing it!
I remember Phillips first goal for us and I'm sure it was on his debut up at the Walkers Stadium. Screamer from about 35 yards. Never had a problem with him, decent player.
I think Holloway knows hes going to get some abuse, I just know that if we sing it and lose he will come out with stupid comment!
