I have more of a problem with Vance than I do Trump - and what is more concerning about that for me is Trump will be rid in four years time, but Vance might not. I think Trump can be tamed as Starmer and Macron showed, although more Keir because he's on the outside of the EU, so it sits better with the Presidents ideologies, which do align with some of mine from a more centre right point of view. However, for me Trump demonstrates the problems with Federal States, so it's like the kettle calling the pot black in my eyes,
I believe Vance could have controlled the situation in the Oval office if he had wanted to, but he's on his own agenda for the future, so what better to fire the boss up and to get a pat on the head like a little poodle. The problem Vance has now created, is those that were sitting on the fence like me, are now firmly off the fence and thinking we need to build our own military up and look after ourselves without the aid of America, but that becomes a problem around our nuclear deterrent. At this moment in time, I'd rather being doing business with the Chinese than these ****s. Total lack of respect.
Hopefully my rationale will calm in a day or two, but it's good to see OUR Prime Minister leading Europe at the moment, and the more he can do that and get other European leaders onside, the more clout it gives him with Trump, especially once the Americans wake up and realise their economy is failing, **** em.
