Ironically if that was the defender it wouldn't be a penalty

Sounds like a silly rule if you get hit by ball with arms at side not raised. TBF he only did the assist, it bounced off the Wed defender. Perfectly legal

Moan moan moan. He couldn't avoid it hitting his arm. Ball over the defender too - but apparently he watched it all the way.
They explained it about 30 seconds after I posted asking why. Didn't realise it was the rule. Males sense but we benefit from a ref **** up for once!
