If it's keyhole surgery then you can be running after 2-3 weeks and twisting after 4 or 5 weeks. Its dependent on the damage and kind of surgery. It's also dependent on individuals for recovery.

Best case scenario is that it's a minor keyhole surgery and we might see him back before seasons end.

Anyone know if it’s the same knee that kept him out before? He came back well ahead of schedule from that injury.
 
Yes, knee cartilage surgery can be performed using keyhole surgery, known as arthroscopy.

Still looking around 4-6 months before a footballer will be playing again...
