Also, once again, no-one seems to really care about Emery taking a battering last night. Loses so many games and no-one cares. Wins a game every now and then against Arsenal and he's one of the best managers in the world. In fact he got lauded this season without even beating us. So average at any big club he's been at. He's better at middling clubs punching above their weight in cups where there's not much pressure to perform consistently and the media ignores the beatings he takes.

Some very bizarre results now making this genuinely quite interesting. But I still think 5 places means there isn't much genuine jeopardy as I don't see a 'big' team missing out. Liverpool, Arsenal, City done and dusted. I think Chelsea will get 4th quite easily too which leaves one spot. Hopefully Forest steal it from Newcastle if only to make the Summer transfer window more interesting for the Isak scramble.

^^^^^^

United and Spurs fans - don't stand for this Category 13 bollox <whistle>

His reputation relies on a bit more than whether or not he beats Arsenal.

I enjoyed you lot taking the piss even had a couple of Ole's when you managed to string more than 2 passes together. <laugh>

I started that <diva>

Literally just said on our board that giving the Ole's when 3/4/5 down is one of the only things from this season I'll look back on fondly.

Support in general was actually excellent last night. The team don't deserve us.

^^^^^^

Still cat rattled even after all this time

... or just happy to take the piss at you being so anally retentive that you've felt the need to categorise posters on an anonymous football forum ...

Probably done it with your two mates too ... or do you just call them mam and dad still <whistle>

I hope Bournemouth and Forest get European football.

Still going and letting your team ruin your days is what’s special about football.

Doesn't seem to. Gets beaten regularly and no-one cares. To have a -2 GD with that squad is sackable.

Not exactly a world class squad you’d expect to be fighting for the title and they’re two points off fifth albeit others have games in hand. Comfortably through the European mega group, has won maybe seven or eight major trophies. Doubt many Villa fans are agonising over their goal difference.

Lost eight games btw. The same as City, Toon and Bornmuff.

Would also add that Morgan Rogers is arguably the best Premier League signing of this season...

Certainly the best value - something daft like £8 or £9 million ... we (Cooper) paid £20 million for Oliver Skipp <doh>

Yup and that's poor. Only one more than Everton. And they've only won 11 out of 28 games. Bang average. Which is why they find themselves bang in the middle of the table. Mediocre. They'll be in the Spurs, Palace, Brentford battle for top half soon rather than the battle for CL qualification.

I expect they’ll win as much as Arsenal this season which isn’t bad going.

Stop with the cope.
If Villa qualify for Europe and pick up a pot, I doubt anyone, including their fans, will give a **** about their goal difference.
Villa are doing as good as pretty much everyone else in the league bar Liverpool, and maybe Arsenal before they lost their teeth.

You sacked Emery, let it go
