They were winners in the 90s. The toon had plans up in the chevy chase and the hippies defeated the club. Tbh I'm pleased because that stadium plan looked ****.
Phenomenal result if they hold on. Don’t think even they will find a way to blow it from here if they do.
I should explain the reason I laughed. My own club once had a five year plan of a new ground, with drawings, the planning permission challenges of a new ground, which all never came to anything. Then Ebbsfleet up the road from my lot, also had a theme park plan, again plans, drawings the lot but on a conservation area, much like you mentioned about the bird watchers and that fell flat on it's face as well. So like everything mate, I'll believe it when I actually see it....that's why I laughed.
I used to have to have meetings near Ebbsfleet. Odd place. We had a new training ground put on hold for years because the local nonces kept claiming an endangered family of badgers lived there or some bollocks. Brentford fans I believe given it was in that area.
Yeah it used to be Gravesend & Northfleet, the latter changing to Ebbsfleet I think when the new station went it for the high speed. Eventually what looked like 'thousands' of houses followed - although not really sure what other infrastructure is around that, I've seen a new pub and hotel, but that's it from memory...oh and it's own bus service that goes to the station terminal. Although with it's close proximity to Blue Water I suppose they regard that has vital services and Gravesend isn't that far away for superstores. I never did think the Universal Studios or was it Paramount would ever get off the ground, plus I think the original overseas investor never actually had the money, I think it was family money (parents) that he was toying with and he got found out lol.
Sums up your time in the Premier League tbf ... and I was only trying to save your own unfunny post ... everyone knows Sucky has never been to Liverpool ... but do keep trying ...
