Is Robertson dealing with the other lad any better? Not really.

Salah has finally decided its his job to help today as he has his goal and assist. Diaz is helping Robertson who is only dropping off deeper and buying space.

Trent problem is ego as he is getting in too close trying to win the ball rather than just doing what Robertson is doing.

For me the key to this game is not having konate and or vvd drawn out of the middle at all. Support the full backs and provide that screen and we can keep a clean sheet.

Funny how we are watching the same game but seeing things differently; imo, Trent is dropping off too much and not being aggressive whereas Robbo is doing his job very well.

Salah was tracking before scoring btw
 
I dont think we are playing well not a lot of intensity but we are 2 up so can’t complain to much
 
Just a comment in response to the comment we are worst in he prem on set piece.

We have given up even talking about this.

But.

We have gravenberch and szoboszlai who are both 6 foot plus. We have two giant cbs. That's 4 targets

For me the delivery is ****, someone is obsessed with inswingers but the ball rarely has pace on it.

At least we stopped crowding the two cbs on a keeper and never getting the ball near the only dangers.

I'd be happy to say delivery from set piece is vital .

Playing on the counter on purpose by the looks of it.

Let city play in front of our defence, drag them out and use Diaz and Salah to run in from the wide. City's defence is very slow.
 
We are half the time not even trying to pass which is frustrating but if we do just donthst this gsme is there fore the taking even more.

We back passed to alisson there and nobody wanted a pass so it was hoofed at nobody and lost.
 
Gakpo is only sub here right now. Diaz maybe and just fresh legs to continue to work and cover.

Then endo later and quansah later.
