I see Rashford has remembered he's supposed to be a footballer. Amazing what getting out from under a cloud at OT can do for you. Even Antony The Show-pony has banged in a few in Spain.

How the hell is that penalty decision overturned for Everton's penalty? Its two clear pulls on Young's shirt
it comes from the excuse they came up with so they didn't have to give penalties due to pulling / grabbing which was " it wasn't long enough contact to warrant a penalty" which has been trotted out 4 or 5 times this season and i assumme the VAR official wanted to be consistent.
All the ones i can remember though were not awarded by the ref and were Var checking after the event so yesterday i can't see what justification VAR had for interfering as it wasn't a clear and obvious error . I did notice that as i've pointed out before when the ref goes to the monitor they never show him pics which do / might support his decision

I'd say it's more the fact that young threw himself forward when he was pulled back that hints at their thought process.

Mixed feelings. It shouldn't have been given, but it was. But that ludicrous dive is what Young was judged on, much like Jota last week.

Confusion reigns at Arsenal TV as they can't blame it on Liverpool or the FA this time. :emoticon-0143-smirk
