The simple answer is that Jim Ratfink has quickly pissed a lot of fans off so become the Route One target for blame when anything goes wrong, which means Amorim is pretty much ignored for the finger pointing Compared to six months ago this is all the more stark, because back then Ratfink was still Not Glazer that meant ten Hag was the Route One source for appointing blame when things went wrong, but Ratfink eroded any goodwill (if any) from that honeymoon period in impressive fashion
They won't. As for Amorim, Utd knew what they were getting and that they didn't have the players that suited his system. They've since had a mini injury crisis and loaned out a bunch of players without replacing them. Rashford, Antony and Malacia weren't playing well, but at least he had options. Now he's basically stuck with Hojlund, Garnacho and Zirkzee, plus some schoolkids.
The Man Utd faithful are currently doing their impression of the T1000 in the furnace, trying to find the Narrative (TM) that best tells the woes of their season to date. Give it time, and they should get to Amorim.
Genuinely relegation calibre players. Frightening really when you consider Utd’s stature and the forwards they’ve boasted in previous years.
Hojlund's a good, bullying CF in the Mark Hughes mold ...so why neither ten Hag nor Amorim have him play to his strengths is truly mystifying
Can’t hit a barn door though, his finishing is atrocious. 9 league goals in Serie A should’ve been a warning sign in the first place, not to go and spend £75m! No idea what they were thinking lol.
That's three times the number of goals Thierry Henry scored in Serie A That being said, a lot of clubs seem to see Man Utd coming: Atalanta with Hojlund, Dortmund with Sancho, Juventus with Pogba, Leicester with Maguire etc etc etc
Forgetting he's not playing for United anymore. Lost count of the number of dodgy pens he got for them. I remember that pic with him in the diving goggles and snorkel.
Citeh will be looking to get their PL top 4 qualification campaign in motion. After the Madrid game, and with the game on wednesday in mind, we shall see what mood they are in when they play the Poool tomorrow.
Can’t be right, apparently after Liverpool’s draw with Villa all Arsenal had to do was turn up and the league was there’s? Talk of just a 2 point gap appearing once Liverpool lose to city and they easily beat West Ham and Forest. Nicely satisfying afternoon of football.
