Well Bristol City have still not stepped into the playoffs having had three chances-yet we are still only 2 points of sixth spot and 5 points of fifth spot a little gap opening up there.

Boro having only won one game in six- interesting how they sold their top striker but went out and purchased quality replacements and have plenty to choose from. However clearly not scoring enough to win games at present.

Have Bristol City got enough quality to win this one that is the big question-we do seem to get decent results against Boro.

There was a poll carried out this week and 95% of fans want to see a Armstrong-Wells partnership up front.
Manning is so stubborn with his one up top game plan. He needs to give it a go.

There should be a decent crowd being a Friday night and lets hope the players turn up and put a performance on.

I think Tommy Conway is fit again lets just hope he don't put a couple in the onion bag if he plays.

Going to be a tight game with the odd goal deciding it- personally it all depends on which city side turn up city in good form can give any team in the championship a game i don't have a clue which side will turn up-I think this game will be won by the odd goal not sure to which side.

This is interesting on a Boro site-

Quite probable, given the teams' respective current form and head to head record.

In our last 6 meetings with Bristol City, Boro have Won 0, Drawn 2 and Lost 4. Plus Ashton Gate isn't a place we do very well at. ☹️

I'd be apprehensive about going there even if we were top of the league

Nope.

Don't care how brutal we are at the moment, there's no way I'd take a draw against Bristol City. They are not a top 6 club and we are 11th and if we want to finish in the top 6, then we need to be going out to try and get 3pts.

If we set up to go for the win, and then draw, then I'll accept that.

But no way would I be taking a point before KO.

You are aware Boro have not won against Bristol in their last 6 meetings and don't do well at their place?

Think you need to manage your expectations a bit. If Bristol aren't a top 6 team then Boro definitely aren't.

Unless you use the Woodgate argument that the table is lying...

Also, I'm not sure Carrick knows how to set up for a draw. At the moment I d

It really depends which Bristol City turn up, this could go either way. I’m not feeling confident atm, I hope I’m wrong.
