Remember watching that match and seeing the arrival of a young Howard Kendall. Great game. That night I went to see the Rolling Stones.

A one club man. You can be sure there will be some sad West Ham fans after hearing the news.

Tudor had retired when I was just a toddler but reading his name brings back the infamous: 'now Tudor's gone down for Newcastle' - from a goal that was before my time, but became part of my childhood via 101 Great Goals/ and every FA Cup R3 preview show since.

    RIP

    RIP Tony Kinsey (1927-2025)

I doubt many on here will be aware of him, but he was a very influential jazz drummer and bandleader in the 1950's and 60's.

Carry On legend and Doctor Who star Julian Holloway has died aged 80.

The actor was a mainstay of the Carry On film franchise, appearing in eight films between 1967 and 1976, including Carry On Camping and Carry On Up The Khyber as well as one of the Carry On Christmas TV specials.

Another notable role he played was Sergeant Paterson in the final 'classic era' Doctor Who television story, Survival in 1989.

A bit of a shock, RIP Rick Buckler.

It was rumoured earlier today and Paul Weller has just confirmed it’s true.

    Very sad

I was going to see him at Wrecking Ball in a couple of weeks but it had just been postponed due to illness.

RIP Rick Buckler. Drummer with the best ****ing band in the world.

The Jam had already been split up for about ten years when I got into them as a teenager.

    Opened up so many doors.

    RIP Rick

We were going to Nantwich on the 6th. I’m a bit gutted.
