he was a great player.
Always think about him being a top bloke, like Super Kevin Campbell.
Should have played loads more games than he did for England. But then look at all the other top strikers at the time.

It's done by spending money and was done without obstacles.

It appears people start from a position of saying we can't have a situation where clubs like 'city' or 'Newcastle' can spend more money than other clubs... Well why not? We've already got a situation where clubs can spend more than everyone else.

Oh they've earned the right to spend the most forever sorry I forgot that rule.

Probably would have if Newcastle hadn’t bought Shearer. Still probably should have.

Then Newcastle sold him the day Shearer did his knee and ended up with John Dahl Tomasson up front.

Tomasson went on to win everything with a Milan I think. It was probably playing with Andreas Anderson here
