What a belter, wasn't able to be at HQ tonight, which is frustrating. Reading the comments here sounds like an exciting and thrilling performance. Well done Marti & the lads.

Watching the goal clips, it's fantastic to see virtually every player join the goal celebrations, shows great team spirit.

A season ticket for Raving our new lucky mascot!

Highlights for those of us who missed the action live.

Yang's touch to beat the defender for Chair's second is sublime.

Those highlights were very kind to Derby, to be fair we hadn’t done all that much until the first but after that it was pretty much one way until all the subs were made, mix of Derby being poor and some absolute class from us, a huge difference in quality between the teams.

Agree we was doing nothing & couldn’t see it changing until the first Goal & then we settled down & they lost it

Marti agreed too. He said in his interview that Derby normally play in a 5 at the back, but Eustace had them set up in a flat four, and it took a while to adjust. Once we sussed them out we were miles ahead of them - it's only once we started piling the subs on that they even had a sniff at our goal...

One thing. Since we went to 4-2-3-1, we've had Varane as the holding midfielder are Field as the number 8. Wouldn't they be more effective with these roles reversed?

I'm inclined to agree. Varane is more adept at going forward, but versatile to provide cover to the defence if required.

Field does have a knack of popping up in the opposition box and occasional goal. Nice to have options though.

Field is not naturally attack-minded. His first reaction when receiving the ball is to turn backwards rather than forwards. They're both top players for us, but I think switching their roles would be beneficial.
