Juric is demonstrably worse than Martin, who despite his stubbornness was never really the problem in the first place.
I think it's both mate. This squad is absolute ****ing toilet. Not a leader amongst them. The manager hasn't got a clue and then there's this At ****ing home To a second string championship team Absolute embarrassment from top to bottom
Worst performance of the season. Still can't get over it. How many players being played out of position?
5 at the back (With no centre backs) 1 CM for most of it No shots No hope Absolute ****ing toilet. As bad as it gets
As bad as this season has been losing to a second string championship side is a new low At least Everton won too so I can book my hotel for Goodison.
Just to reiterate, I am not a fan of marauding CBs and “proper” midfielders dropping into deep positions to cover for them. It just leads to two players being out of position and a ****ing great big hole in the middle of the park which will be exploited by decent teams. On the training ground they practice passing in tight spaces, yet our midfield players are so far apart they can’t work as a unit. I have seen an improvement in us going forward, in some games, and we’re now getting a tune out of Sulemana, but I won’t weep any tears if we start next season with a manager that will play a more pragmatic style of football and not play ideological styles like Martin and Juric.
Not sure about that mate. I've definitely seen slight improvements since he came in but he's equally as stubborn. Roll on next season.
Hard agree, but..... The squad. The transfers Nathan Jones Ruben Selles Russell Martin Ivan Juric How are people still not spotting the common denominator throughout all this ****e?
We are probably a bang average championship club, whereas Burnley are a very good Championship club. They are very good in defence. Was anyone really surprised that we lost?
Juric clearly doesn’t fancy Archer as a starter, but he also hasn’t called him out with a cryptic comment to the press.
Need a strong drink tonight after that. What an utterly depressing performance. Cannot wait for this season to end.
He might have been a problem. He wasn’t the problem. And it’s beginning to look like he overachieved getting this shower promoted.
No. With the underlying and for most of us, unknown issues with some of this squad, I expected changes to last week, but did expect a more passionate performance. Disappointed about that. There’s still too much tippy tapping stuff. Sulemana did offer hope at times, but attacking link up between players still way off where it should be. Ah well, Bournemouth next week. Another pilgrimage of deluded hope!!
