Such a shame we didn't take the opportunity to all but relegate them. They gave us two opportunities, and we can't even do that. We don't win trophies and we can't even find the strength to relegate more successful clubs to help heal our wounds.
Going to be very difficult to put Liverpool to the sword. I'm not convinced Today will be easy because our second string is pretty **** tbh.
I'm hoping to see more from Miley and Osula. Miley in particular because he's got something that lad. I'm not sure there's much else behind our first 11.
Lol, and a fair amount of money! I'm sure I read that when you got relegated in the 60s or 70s you broke the British record twice in the same window and spent the modern equivalent of £180m to get promoted, funded by the family that owned you. No issue with that as it was allowed back then but the idea that it was just hard work and an ethos is nonsense.
Hopefully not mate. The last two seasons have proven beyond doubt that I was right all along to hope for relegation. Loads of new stadiums to do next season plus a couple of derbies. Buzzing for it.
You’re welcome to join me at Middlesbrough. Talk of a final day jolly in Newcastle/Sunderland too but been there before.
Nothing is all of one thing, my point is that labelling us as this money club who've had it easy is nonsense.
