I think THB out of the firing line for a while could do him some good.
I agree 100%. It should be remembered that he only turned 23 last month, which is very young to be a Premier League CB. Although he has put in some dreadful performances recently, he still has great potential. Ideally, he needs to play alongside a natural defensive leader he can learn from, but unfortunately we don’t have one of those!

Saints will get the job done on Saturday. I think it may be dour to watch and am thinking we will win 2 -0. I predicted that we would win last week and feel I am on a roll with my forecasts. A brace for Tall Paul... the new Iain Dowie.

Sutton's prediction: 1 - 0
Burnley's defensive record is unbelievable, but they have got a problem at the other end of the pitch.
They don't score many goals and it appears there is an element of Burnley fans who are quite bored watching Scott Parker's team.
Southampton will not be complaining, because they have won so few games against anyone this season.
Saints picked up a rare win at Ipswich last weekend, and at home they have managed only three victories in all competitions - Stoke in the Carabao Cup, Everton in the league and Swansea in the FA Cup third round. To say they have momentum after beating Ipswich is probably pushing it, and they are still a long way adrift at the bottom of the table, but a decent FA Cup run would give their fans a bit of escapism in what has been a miserable season.

Doves' prediction: 2 - 1

You do realise that this is (probably) the first time this season that Chris Sutton has predicted anything other than a Saints' loss? His new-found belief is something to be admired. We are staying up! (OK, we are getting to the next round of the FA Cup)

Watched a video from Staplewood and there was no sign of Dibling or Downes.
Are they both out of the running for Saturday?

Someone mentioned on twitter they had heard Downes was training with the U21s, but unsure if there's any truth in that.

Something does seem to have gone on with Downes, lately, mind ...

Not sure if Saintsplayer will be showing this one, as they don’t always have streams for every FA Cup game. Fingers crossed.
Someone has just asked Saintsplayer if the game will be streamed and the answer was to check the schedule tomorrow but a quick look indicates that it will be streamed.

Just had a look at the weekends games for potential new grounds for the next round should we get through.

7 teams left. 4 almost certain to lose. Another one most probably will and the other two playing each other.

Looks like it's gonna be first season in god knows how long without any new grounds :(

Yeah I’d imagine his table would have us on zero points. Not sure I’d BBC track it.

I remember they used to track Lawrenson’s until he predicted Liverpool to win every game or something so binned it
