All jesting apart - with Isak up front and Gordon and Murphy (and Barnes) against TAA / Bradley and Robertson, you'd have one hell of an opportunity ... just need Isak to stay fit ...
If we play well on the day then our team is good enough to give anyone a good game. I'd make them 70-30 favourites and the issue beyond that is that if they get an injury or two in the meantime their back-ups are still very good. If we get a couple of key injuries then we're just turning up for a day out.
Need our best 11 and them to have a few injuries maybe.. Neutral ground and on the day anything can happen though. What the hell am I talking about? We've got no chance.
Damn it. Why did you have to say that? Whenever anyone says "Liverpool hasn't lost to 'team' in X games" we always lose. Anyhow... On with the penalty
DIVE, I'm certain he should have been booked for that the cheating bastard and when i see it later it'll confirm it.
Our opportunity was against Man Utd a couple of years back, though we were catching them in a recent season they weren't terrible. Our other cup finals in the past 30 years have been against the Double winning Arsenal, the Treble winning Man Utd and a Liverpool side who are probably going to be winning at least a couple of trophies themselves. I guess if you're complaining about never getting to play against dross teams in finals then it means you are the dross team.
Nothing against a good #spursy but in fairness I don't think losing at Anfield this season qualifies. Over the two legs they've done better than most would have expected.
Amazed he’s picked these mongs in midfield over Bergvall who will get a grip of this game and lead us to penalties.
