For thousands of years other cultures have recognised other genders. The Hijra in India, Two-Spirit in native American culture, Bugis in Indonesia, and various incarnations of lady boys etc in Thailand. Navajo culture recognises five different genders and then you get into hermaphrodite, androgyny and all sorts of variations of X,Y Chromosone combinations. Basically the assertion that there are just males and females isn't true and history, culture and human biology backs this up. What has happened in western culture is that people have been framed into these two genders when it's clear that there are loads of people who just don't 'fit' and for those people I can only imagine how scary and frustrating it is to have people yelling obscenities and making all sorts of derogatory comments about them I agree with you that there needs to be protected spaces for women, because like all of these things, they are open to abuse. And I also think children need protecting from invasive procedures and medications around hormone blockers/ and or surgery. But taking the Trump approach of just trying to deny it exists and cutting off all support and funding is just misguided, blinkered and cruel.
This will sound weird but years ago watched a documentary about a small Indian religious cult who worshiped a Deity who was a male with a vagina and all the subsequent priests had to be men with vaginas, now obviously these are very rare so the young men who want or are encouraged or forced to be a priest have their entire genitals sliced off, they then rest for the night in a special room, if in the morning they survive they are the new priest if they die they are proclaimed martyrs and buried with full honours

I assume "protected places" means bathrooms/toilets in this instance. I think obviously we can't/shouldn't allow just any man to walk into women's bathrooms... But I think the problem is overstated. A trans woman is far-far more likely to be beaten to a pulp in a men's bathroom than any woman is likely to be harmed by a trans woman. As a group the trans people tend not to be amongst the more aggressive or sexual violent people.. Now when it comes to sports and some other things... Obviously there is a biological advantage to trans and it should be a safe space for women.
Lol, I'm not a fan of fake tits. My friend used to be a stripper, she had a boob job and got them out for me to have a feel. They feel okay, but I had a little jiggle and they just don't move around like proper tits. I don't like seeing those little scars underneath either, turn off that for me.
