I'd say we've got similar chances. We're both likely to come 2nd in our respective domestic cups but they've got the chance of Europe as well.

So no trophies for either of us then.

For the good of the competition, spurs have to get to the final. Liverpool have the league and won’t give two ****s about this trophy. It needs to be fought out by teams who genuinely will care

Liverpool will wanna win as many trophies as possible. League cup is usually won by the top sides so to say they won’t care is untrue

I heard he'd said it again. I like the fact that whilst some players just like to throw comments around (like we had with Joey Barton a decade back) Gordon raises his game for harder opposition. I think the ****housery is an important part of his mindset and the stats show he's a big game player - he just needs more big games now.

He'll be important for you in the final, seems to understand that it's just another step tonight and nothing is won yet, be happy yes but there nothing to celebrate.

We actually had to discuss it on way home, he asked so had to tell him to be fair.
