Would you say the UK is a tolerant country, well it certainly never use to be, I often see pictures of memories of how nice our country supposedly was...
but pictures can create false memories of what the past was really like, you wrote a list yesterday asking numerous questions, so let me write you a list of what we were really like only, let's say 4-6 decades back...
We were racist, we had problems with the National Front, racism was rife in the workplace and schools
Our religion was swamped with ****philes
Our care homes were used to traffic and abuse children from across the country and swamped with more ****philes
Our celebrities and politicians were later to be proven as ****philes, I give you Saville for a staters.
Many men were mysogynistic and thought their women should stay at home, how dare you play football
Mainly men at football games, rarely saw a woman...it was if we hid our women away
Women never covered their faces, but they shut themselves indoors washing, cooking and doing the cleaning, like the white mans litttle slave
Actually I say women never use to cover their faces, but it use to be the norm to wear a head scarf, see Hilda Ogden for more detail
Hatred on the streets every Saturday match day, white thugs fighting and knives...hooliganism was so rife they had to put up steel fencing
We were banned from Europe for being scummy little English scrotes
People killed for supporting the colour of a football team
Terrorism nearly killed the Prime Minster of the time, but for a very lucky escape
Bombs going off across the UK
We destoyed the Middie East and deserve the consequences
We declared war in the Falklands, because someone disturbed the sheep
We bombed Yugoslavia with so called bombs of peace and killed innocent kids
We turned parts of Northern Ireland into a war zone
I could go on and on, strikes, copper bashing on the front line
High unemployment
Old people dying of hypothermia
No foodbanks
Poverty
Tell me about this wonderful green land again mate, you know the one, where the white christian man ruled?
