I'm pondering what to do about the forthcoming 4th Round FA Cup games. Unlike the 3rd Round, they sit right on top of an already busy Championship schedule.

My inclination is to ignore the FA Cup. The rule has been that we'd continue until Argyle were knocked out but that's of no interest to 2 of the 8 and that was drafted before the league programme was spread all over the calendar by TV coverage.

Also, and in the interests of transparency, my model is set up for minimum effort for a fixed league of 24 teams. I did bastardise it for the 3rd round but at least then there were no Championship games going on simultaneously.

Without prejudice, here is the match text for the next round of Championship games, reduced of course for those teams still in the Cup.

These run from Tuesday 4th February to Sunday 9th February.

The games after that start on 11th February. Coventry City v QPR is the first in that group and as you can see, Coventry also feature on 5th February v Leeds.

I forgot to mention that there would be a special bonus of 100 points for anyone achieving a single digit score,

Lyndhurst got a ridiculous 32 points without even bothering with a second joker while Plym got the second-half goal time goal but was still 9 points adrift in second place.
