If Brighton want Watson we want a significant chunk of the massively inflated fee they've just laundered for the Arabs
Interesting Dodds being linked with a managers job. Personally I'd like him to stay as he's clearly a very good coach and it may disrupt the coaching set up. However, same as with the players, if any of the coaches want to progress their careers then we shouldn't put up huge barriers
We absolutely shouldn’t be selling Watson for that money mind. Wouldn’t even answer the phone at that price. Quadruple it and we can talk.
Ok £5m was too low, but come on, quadruple? He's played 12 games and has 18 months on his deal and will only be sold if he's asking for the move. So if we do end up selling him this window it will be for a lot less than £20m. Ideal scenario he signs a new 5 year deal next week.
Watson would be daft to leave now, just got into first team and still only 18. Has plenty of time to earn a to a higher level when he is ready to be a regular there. Doubt he would be anything but a squad player if he went now?
How on earth has Scott Wilson managed to twist what Reggie said into a panic piece? The guy LITERALLY said there's lots of stuff happening and he's relaxed.
