That's what we got told. My brother's brother in law told us the day of the Bolton Semi Final. He insisted it was true.

Surely Griffin would've been sold by then? Didn't we sell Griff to Newcastle in 1998?

The allegation is that Pulis had an affair with the Chairman's wife! Wow. You just can't tell from looking at people can you. I'm assuming he played it deep, worked 'ard, played the channels and let her come on to him

Indeed Crooks, I heard that Pulis wasn't very good on his feet, always going down in the box!

  12. Potts, I was at that 2nd leg and walked out after we had Kavanagh sent off. I heard that the FA did not want Stoke and Millwall at Wembley. I thought the ref was absolute crap that game and hoped never to go back to that dump of a ground.

However, hope I get a tkt and we paly our best team and win fair and sqaure!

I've been a gills supporter for longer than I care to admit, but I was always under the impression the it was Iffy who had Mrs Scally in the shower, and as Pulis knew about it and didn't tell the chairman, that was the cause of them falling out, and Iffy was surprisingly sold to Swindon shortly after. Although I don't know if its true or not, but it seems odd that Iffy was sold, and even odder that some years later Scally brought him back to gills as a coach and then standin manager.Maybe Scally doesn't hold a grudge....Oh,hang on.

The Scally/Pulis inside story has been well known at Priestfield for years. Even the Rainham End worked it out, there was no need to know the details but I think the Iffy Onuora bit is the product of someone's imagination. Iffy has stood in as manager since then and he is now the manager of Ethiopia (by choice not because Scally exiled him). Anyway this is all old news and Scally dumped that Missus years ago. These things just happen. Peter Crouch has done much worse on morals and been admired for it.

Can't believe that T.P. would go behind someone's back then take them into a shower, grab a bar of soap and towel and......
    Unless it's James Beattie's sister we're talking about. <whistle>

Thats how rumours start Potts - it'll be in the Mail as fact tomorrow. Was she a looker or did she take after James?

    SHOCK NEWS FOR STOKE FANS
One important aspect of the revelations about Pulis concerning his time at Gillingham, is the effect on his popularity with Stoke fans. Stoke fans will just have to face up to the fact that he might not be gay after all.
