How it’s an excuse, look at the league table and form of both teams.
Spurs are terrible atm, plus the game at the KP ended in a draw. Wouldn’t be surprised to see another draw today.
We'll be lacking Hermandsen, Pereira, Ndidi and Futawau - and yes, I know every club gets injuries, but those 4 are amongst the best in a pretty average squad ... and if Vestergaard plays, Richarlison will look great ...

it’s a tricky one. Is it a bounce back win for Spurs or a first win in the league in 7 or 8 games for Ruud.

My point - that you've missed - is that even with all those injuries, you squad is way better ... the four I mentioned, if fit, might have helped give your side today a competitive game ...
