FFS it's a light hearted game for seven of us. If you get 3 or 5 points for the correct goal time having forecast 0 - 0 then I doubt anyone will give a flying feck. You should however be shot several times for not supporting your team with a victory prediction. Only 2 can have any sort of excuse for not. I believe treason is still a hanging offence in this Country.

Well the good news is that owing to Victor Palsson picking out one of theirs with a clearance, the first goal was at 11 minutes so it's neither here nor there. Away in BC got the goal time points with his customary 10 minute offering.

My Man of the Forecasting Match is SMH who managed to outscore all but Lyndhurst and Plym despite only submitting forecasts for the Wednesday games. Before somebody mentions it, I did notice he'd played a joker on those 4 games but it was on Leeds V Norwich, which if you exclude the three who put theirs on the Super Match (which is intended to be difficult to forecast and therefore a lottery), he was only doing what the majority of us had done picking from 12. I let that go but I reserve the right to take a contrary view if in the future, someone picks a game nobody else has gone for from a sub-set of the games.

Plym got 7 of the twelve results correct and got three "3 points or more" red scores to top-score with some ease. Excellent performance Plym, you must tell us how you do it... Whatever his method, I doubt second placed Lyndhurst spent much time on his forecast so 10 points is a good haul and he also managed two "red scores" within it.

I'm just glad the goal time wasn't....Zero/42/45mins.

I've recently sharpened my pin and am wearing a thicker blindfold in green of course......make of that what you will.

Helter, skelter, here is the match text for the next round, which kicks off at 8pm on Friday 25th January and, for once, finishing on Saturday afternoon!.

Sheffield United - Hull City
Luton Town - Millwall
Norwich City - Swansea City
Stoke City - Oxford United
Bristol City - Blackburn Rovers
Cardiff City - Derby County
Coventry City - Watford
Preston North End - Middlesbrough
Queens Park Rangers - Sheffield Wednesday
Sunderland - Plymouth Argyle
West Bromwich Albion - Portsmouth
Burnley - Leeds United

Goal totals will be on.

Following on is a single game on Tuesday 28th:

Burnley - Millwall

You may like to forecast that one now although I will have to score it separately. You cannot have this game as your Super Match, please select one from the 12 weekend games.

Hard to find away wins this week.....should be at least 3 or 4 on average ?

You are correct Plym, my error in reading the fixtures: Burnley play on the MONDAY but that's the last game of the weekend set. You are the first of several to spot it: the rest must trust me for some bizarre reason!

I PRESUME THE REST OF YOU MAY WISH TO REVIEW YOUR FORECASTS FOR THIS SINGLE GAME. PORTSMOUTH'S RECENT HOME FORM IS BETTER THAN BURNLEY'S, BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

Nothing from Lyndhurst as at 15:45 on Friday.

As usual, a heavy preference for home wins with only Middlesbrough getting any significant support for an away win. That would have been even more pronounced if several of us didn't have our fingers in our ears going "nah nah nah nah" as we put Argyle down to get a result at Sunderland. That's being a fan for you, isn't it?

Goal totals are on for this one and we've got a spread between 22 (Away) and 37 (Joe). I feel pretty confident it'll be in that range somewhere.

Apart from the cluster on the Super Match, jokers are all over the place:

Oh how sweet Sensible and Plym agree on the goals scored this week :emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl<party>

If tonights scoreline is anything to go by it's gonna be another megga scoring weekend. How the feck can you predict when this sort of thing happens.
