As regards the lady who complained about Horner,I wonder if she was paid off to simply shut up and go away?.But then again, why should Horner need to pay any hush money at all if he really did do nothing wrong? You ask, will Russell perform better than Lewis? I`m interested to see how Kimi antonelli performs against Russell.
Angela Cullen is back with Lewis. Lewis Hamilton will be reunited with his former trainer Angela Cullen as he embarks on a new chapter in his F1 career at Ferrari. Hamilton, who enjoyed a formidable partnership with Cullen during his time at Mercedes, has turned to the New Zealander, who will form part of his backroom team. Cullen worked with Hamilton for six of his seven world championship wins but they parted company after the opening race of the 2023 season. Despite their split, the two remained in close contact and frequently messaged each other. Autosport has now learned that Cullen has joined Hamilton's Project 44 company as a physio and will form part of the performance team overseen by race director Marc Hynes. Since the start of 2024, Hamilton's Project 44 company has made several key hires across different areas to help manage the F1 driver's career. After leaving Hamilton's side, Cullen has worked for fellow Kiwi IndyCar driver Marcus Armstrong. However, rumours that she would rejoin Hamilton's side at Ferrari intensified earlier in the month when she posted photographs on Instagram wearing red and with a flag bearing his race number, 44, in the background. please log in to view this image Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes and Angela Cullen, Physio for Lewis Hamilton Photo by: Steve Etherington / Motorsport Images Speaking about their split in 2023, Hamilton said: "Angela is living her life right now. She's got so many ideas of things she wants to do. We message pretty much every day. We are still going to skydive together. We are always going to be in each other's lives. "We're stuck with each other, unfortunately, or fortunately! We've been through thick and thin. I am grateful our relationship is as good as it is. We've probably had one of the longest relationships I would say in the sport. I am incredibly grateful for her, I love her dearly." News of the return of their partnership comes as Hamilton undergoes his first laps in a Ferrari-powered car at the Italian team's test track in Fiorano. The 40-year-old spent time in the team's simulator on Monday as he adjusts to the new processes and power delivery of the Ferrari power unit. Hamilton spent the day meeting team principal Fred Vasseur and chief executive Benedetto Vigna, as well as Piero Ferrari, the son of the team's founder, Enzo Ferrari. He also visited Enzo Ferrari's office and spent the day getting to know his new team-mates
Enjoying seeing the pics of him in red finally. It's getting me excited for the season, despite knowing the inevitable disappointment Ferrari will provide.
I think it shows that Lewis was depressed at Mercedes who went in the wrong direction. I suspect his mood was the cause of Angela seeking work elsewhere. This renewal of Lewis going to Ferrari may raise his fighting spirit again. With her alongside him we may see his mojo return.
Be more upbeat, they changed to a pull rod rather than push rod. Really do hope Lewis at Ferrari doesn't turn into a damp squid.
And so the curse of Carlos Sainz begins… I assume due to some technicality linked to this being testing of prior cars any repair isn’t counted against the cost cap?
I can understand he might be looking for both it's weaknesses as well as strengths to get the season off to a good start. Hope that was all he was doing. He should be better than to crash though.
2025 will mark Lewis’ debut with the Scuderia, and if the scarlet cars have retained any of their pace from last year’s campaign, we could see a return to the top step for the seven-time champion. please log in to view this image
The livery for 2025 is just bloody lousy!!! please log in to view this image This is all you need folks, this isn't hard!! please log in to view this image
What a comlete abomination and an absolute mess if this is really the 2025 Ferrari livery !! This even worse than the mixture of colours a few years ago when they painted the car red and some maroon towards the back. I just hope that it goes a lot better than it looks.
HP might be paying the big bucks but it looks absolutely horrible on a Ferrari and has done ever since they added them as a sponsor!! Mind you, even my beloved McLaren looked pretty naff with mostly exposed carbon again and a continuation of last seasons colours. Williams and Aston looked quite tidy with their efforts I thought. Racing Bulls wins the best livery though, and by quite a margin.
Is there anywhere on the Ferrari that DOESN’T have a sponsor on it I just hope that’s not the racing livery !
Agree - the HP logo looked terrible on Red, which I guess has necessitated the white, but unfortunately it’s debatable whether it’s any better looking now. It’s paying for Hamilton though, so I guess there’s some synergy in it being stylistically “interesting”.
