That will never be forgotten. Going back to Wednesday night I don't think we can even criticise Mr. Linnington for that. We were so poor we didn't give him any decisions to make in their penalty area. Oh for the days of Burke, Noone, Chopra etc. They knew how to go down like a bag of sh1t when touched in the penalty area.
A return to CCS for sometime Premier League ref Darren Bond - the one who once had an alice band. Last seen here in the late win versus Sheff Wed last season.
After a most inconsistent and a touch of ‘look at me I now do Premier League games’ from Mr Bond yesterday what awaits us over the Christmas break? At Oxford will be Gavin Ward; a home win and a home loss this season. His last away game was our avoidable defeat at Ipswich last season. At Watford will be Sam Allison; 3 wins from 3 last season. All good things come to an end At home v Coventry will be Geoff Eltrincham; last seen at CCS in our play off semi defeat by Fulham. I seem to recall a suspect foul given very late on which led to Fulham getting a vital second goal. Let’s see how these 3 men get on in this vital and possibly season (and the future of Riza?) defining period for City.
He did our 0.1 defeat at Luton in 22/23. Our 1.0 win at Barnsley in 21/22 and our 2.1 win at Rotherham in 20/21. Not all bad then.
Well he was just fine until he was injured and replaced by that amateur Anyway Andrew Nield has the whistle tomorrow. He reffed our league cup game v Saints this season but this appears to be the first Cardiff league game.
A lower league regular Adam Herczerg to oversee our FACup match at Sheff U. Let’s hope he’s more competent than that clown Durkin
Another trip to Cardiff from West Midlands for Ollie Langford on Tuesday v Watford. Last seen here v Pompey.
Ding Dong Bell did our recent 2 2 draw at Cov, our 2.0 defeat at Southampton last season and our 3.1 win at Wigan the season before. I think we've seen him at CCS but couldn't be ar$ed to go further back.
I'm confused, or perhaps I shouldn't be as it's a Jack site. They announce James Bell is to ref the match on Saturday, then in the 3rd paragraph they talk about Langford, presumably Oliver Langford? Whats that all about?
A quick return to South Wales for Dean Whitestone as the ref for Saturdays game versus the snowmen. Have to go back to sept 2021 for our last win under his whistle. Ps He sent off Darling last night.
