Yep, Ankersen but although being mainly in Turkey, I have a feeling he directs a lot of our major decisions.
I think he does, but only when there's a vacuum allowed to grow, firstly when Shields disappeared straight after arriving, RA stepped in and did the recruitment that window and when Wilcox left, he stepped up his involvement again to fill the void. If Solak hires for those roles properly and then leaves Ankersen to focus primarily on Turkey, while serving as an overall advisor at Sport Republic / board level - but without a club job title - then that makes sense for everyone really
 
Good news. Shows that it's true what many of us have been saying that the board/ownership has been incompetent rather than nefarious and that Solak is clearly invested in the club doing well.

We all wondered at what point he'd have had enough and step in and appears that point is now. Hopefully a proper DOF will be coming in.
