    Games of the day.
    By Sucky

Lpool v Accrington, if just for the geography. And the fact this site wouldnt exist if there wasnt a chance of Liverpool losing a game every weekend.

    Lestah v qpr.
    Fosse v westy,
    Jews v snooze.

City v Salford, again for geopolitical correct reasons and a possible upset cos city are dodge as **** on the pitch as well as off it this season.

Our only hope of any bants is Jews v snooze.

Annoying that Leeds Harrogate is on the same time as City Salford. Would have liked to watch both of those.

Still fuming that our game tomorrow is for the sake of BBC ****ing Wales.

We may possibly be giving a debut to 15 year old 'wonder kid' Jeremy Monga today - been a regular in the U21s this season and has been training with the first team all week - would be our youngest ever debutant - hope he gets a run out...

Top teams and Liverpool monitoring him...

I find it a bit weird playing 15 year olds, if you was doing martial arts, everything is restricted by age, is this not so for football, especially at Prem or International level where you are going to be up against men.

It's all about physicality (and also ability and mentality) - look at the 17 year old (Lamine Yamal) who just won the Euros in Spain... arguably the best player in the whole tournament...

This particular lad has apparently always plated considerably above his age group ever since he joined us ...

Playing him may also be one way of getting him to sign longer term too <whistle>

Still not really answering my question though mate, is there not age restrictions? You wouldn't get away with the physicality argument in martial arts, well I don't think you would if you had a professional instructor.

Him and Calvin Bassey - now at Fulham - 2 that got away - we'll probably have more than one on our bench too ... but the Monga kid is creating more excitement than any before - but who knows?

yeah at that age an injury can stall their career and they never catch up or it turns out their peak was reached at 17 .

Is this all because it is the FA Cup and the rules differ for Premier League or are the rules the same for both?

I'm wondering if rugby allows 15 and 16 year olds to play at senior level now.

Kid that could be on the bench today for us, Will Alves, has had the last 16 months coming back from an ACL after an absolutely horrific scything tackle from some Wolves kid who didn't appreciate his technical ability ... was renowned as a baller, remains to be seen if he gets fully back to pre-injiry level...

Yup, just think 15 is pushing it for a kid that's all at senior level.

Wonder if all this will change in the future, once we understand better the impact of heading the ball on a developing brain. Also if the rules are not there, what's to stop them playing a 14 year old.

Just got my curiosity when you mentioned the 15 year old lad.
