Nothing at all. I can't remember any protest by Sunderland players. Here's what JHT said after the QPR game:
"Sainz played the full 90 minutes on Sunday but Thorup confirmed afterwards the FA have contacted the club but are yet to charge the winger after a spicy defeat on Wearside. The Dane was unable to confirm the incident is of a spitting nature, which if the FA decide to charge Sainz could potentially lead to a six-game ban."
"It came to our attention that something happened, and probably there's an incident in the game, and we're still waiting for some evidence and exactly what it is. And of course, when we get to know that, then we find out how to deal with the situation. There's no charge at the moment, and there's, of course, also the reason why he's playing, and I also expect that he'll be ready for the team again on Wednesday (Luton away), but we never know when we have to wait and see if there will come a charge.
